1. LABELS are what others or maybe even what you have said that you are.
2. The biggest factor of heartache from labels typically is BEYOND OUR CONTROL.

Genesis 37:26-27—Judah said to his brothers, “What do we gain if we kill our brother and cover up his blood? 27 Come on, let’s sell him to the Ishmaelites and not lay a hand on him, for he is our brother, our own flesh,” and his brothers agreed.

Genesis 41:16—I am not able to,” Joseph answered Pharaoh. “It is God who will give Pharaoh a favorable answer.

Joseph remained FAITHFUL to God.

Genesis 41:37-40—The proposal pleased Pharaoh and all his servants, 38 and he said to them, “Can we find anyone like this, a man who has God’s spirit in him?” 39 So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one as discerning and wise as you are. 40 You will be over my house, and all my people will obey your commands. Only I, as king, I will be greater than you.”

Big Take-Away

Jesus Christ didn’t create you to be held back by the LABELS that the WORLD has put on you.

Christ has called you CHOSEN

You’re REDEEMED

You’re RIGHTEOUS

You’re PURE

You’re STRONG

You’re HIS

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name.  Amen
