Isaiah 7:14—Therefore, the Lord Himself will give you a sign: See, the virgin will conceive have a son, and name Him Immanuel.

Isaiah 9: 2—The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; a light has dawned on those living in the land of darkness.

Isaiah 9: 6—For a Child will be born for us, a Son will be given to us, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.

Matthew 1: 21-23— She will give birth to a Son, and you are to name Him Jesus, because Hewill save His people from their sins.” 22 Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: 23 See, the virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a Son, and they will name Him Immanuel

The Message of Christmas is…

God has sent His great to pierce through the darkness!

John 8: 12— I am the Light of the world. Anyone who follows Me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.

John 3: 19-20—This is the judgment: The Light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the Light because their deeds were evil. 20 For everyone who does evil hates the Light and avoids it, so that his deeds may not be exposed. 21 But anyone who lives by the truth comes to the Light, so that his works may be shown to be accomplished by God. 

In God’s Light you receive…

Luke 1: 78-79—Because of our God’s merciful compassion, the dawn from on high will visit us 79 to shine on those who live in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

Acts 26: 18—…to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins

BIG TAKE AWAY

God’s Light for yourself, then you can the Light to others.

Matthew 5:16—Jesus said, “let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”

Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. In Your Name.  Amen
