Exodus 20:14 —Thou shall not commit adultery.

Thou shall honor thy MARRIAGE and ALL OTHER COVENANTS. 

Matthew 19:5-6 —For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.

Marriage is no longer viewing yourself as SEPARATE but together as ONE.  

Adultery is ANYTHING that comes between YOU and the covenant you made to your SPOUSE. 

Adultery effects your SPOUSE, your CHILDREN and your WALK WITH. GOD. 

1. Protect your marriage by setting BOUNDARIES.  

2. Guard what you’re WATCHING. 

3. Surround yourself with others who PROTECT their marriage.  

Keep Your Marriage From Drifting

1. Take your TIME.. you have a long life don’t rush

2. Make sure you marry the RIGHT person. 

3. Start keeping YOUR WORD now. 

4. Make your relationship with GOD a priority. 

5. Keep God at the center of your FOCUS. 

A marriage VOW isn’t just to a spouse but to GOD as well.

Matthew 5:28—“But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” 

1. GET RIGHT with God and COMMIT to His truths again

2. Ask for FORGIVENESS from your family. 

3. Understand trust takes TIME to rebuild. 

4. PROTECT, PROTECT, PROTECT

If you are ready to receive Jesus as Savior and make Him the Lord of your life, just pray something like this:

Jesus, I’m giving up control of my life.  Please forgive me of my sins and take control. I ask You to be the Lord of my life. I believe You died for my sins, rose from the dead, and are coming back someday. I want to live my life for You. Thank You for giving me another chance to make things right.  AMEN
