Isaiah 49: 14Zion says, “The Lord has abandoned me; the Lord has forgotten me!”

You Are Not Alone…

1. God says, “

Isaiah 49: 15“Can a woman forget her nursing child, or lack compassion for the child of her womb? Even if these forget, yet I will not forget you.”

a. You experience in His Care.

Isaiah 66: 13As a mother comforts her son, so I will comfort you

b. You receive in His care.

John 6: 35Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not

hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”

2. God says, “You Are In

Isaiah 49: 16“Look, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands; your walls are

continually before me.”

Isaiah 53: 4-5Yet he himself bore our sicknesses, and he carried our pains; but we in

turn regarded him stricken, struck down by God, and afflicted. 5 But he was pierced

because of our rebellion, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace

was on him, and we are healed by his wounds .

1 Peter 2:24He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree; so that, having died to

sins, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

John 20: 25-27—  …But he (Thomas) said to them, “If I don’t see the mark of the nails in

his hands, put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will

never believe.” 26 …Even though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among

them and said, “Peace be with you.” 27 Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here

and look at my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Don’t be faithless,

but believe.”

a. You have in His Hands.

John 10: 28-29I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch

one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

3. God says, “I Your .”

Isaiah 49: 16“Look,… your walls are continually before me.”

Your present circumstances aren’t necessarily your future.

Hebrews 13: 5-6Keep your life free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you

have, for he himself has said, I will never leave you or abandon you. 6 Therefore, we

may boldly say, The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

a. You can have about your tomorrows.

Luke 12: 36-40You are to be like people waiting for their master to return from the

wedding banquet so that when he comes and knocks, they can open the door for him

at once. 37 Blessed will be those servants the master finds alert when he comes. Truly

I tell you, he will get ready, have them recline at the table, then come and serve them.

38 If he comes in the middle of the night, or even near dawn,  and finds them alert,

blessed are those servants.

40 You also be ready, because the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not

expect.”
