Service Matters

1. Confront Your  Tendencies

Do nothing out of selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves. Everyone should look not to his own interests, but rather to the interests of others. (Philippians 2:3-4, CSB)

2. Adopt The Of Jesus

Adopt the same attitude as that of Christ Jesus. (Philippians 2:5, CSB)

– Your  Determine Who You Become

3. Cease Self-Promotion, Start  To God

Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God as something to be exploited. Instead He emptied Himself by assuming the form of a servant. (Philippians 2:6-7, CSB)

4. Serving Is Not What I , A Servant Is Who I

“Do you understand what I have done to you? You call me Lord, and you are right, for so I am. If I then, your Lord, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet. For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as I have done to you.” (John 13:12-15, ESV)

He emptied Himself by assuming the form of a servant, taking on the likeness of humanity … He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death — even to death on a cross. (Philippians 2:7-8, CSB)

For this reason God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow — in heaven and on earth and under the earth — and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11, CSB)
