1 Corinthians 13:1-13

1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV) — And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

  1. : Love Monitors the Health of Our

1 Corinthians 13:1-3 “. . . but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal . . . I am nothing . . . I gain nothing.” 

  1. : Love Uncovers the Reality of Our

Romans 5:5 (NIV) — … God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

a. Love Exposes

1 Corinthians 13:4–5 (NIV) — Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered . . .

b. Love Exposes with Your Dark Side

1 Corinthians 13:5–7 (NIV) — …it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
