Hebrews 6:16-20

1 Corinthians 13:13 (NIV) — And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

What Is ?           

Hebrews 6:16 (NIV) — People swear by someone greater than themselves, and the oath confirms what is said and puts an end to all argument.

Hebrews 6:17 (NIV) — Because God wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, he confirmed it with an oath.

  1. Hope Is Taking to the Bank

Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV) — ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

Luke 18:14b (NIV) — “…and those who humble themselves will be exalted.”

Psalm 48:14 (NIV) — For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end.

  1. Hope Is Grasping an During Life’s Storms

Hebrews 6:19 (NIV) — We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.

Hebrews 6:19b–20a (NIV) — this hope…enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where our forerunner, Jesus, has entered on our behalf.
