MYTH: God wants you to be .

Three Experiments:

1. Consider the

Exodus 20:2 (NIV) — I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

2. Consider the

LOVE GOD

• No other gods
• No idols
• Don’t use God’s name in vain
• Remember the Sabbath Day

LOVE NEIGHBOR

• Honor your parents
• Don’t murder
• Don’t commit adultery
• Don’t steal
• Don’t bear false witness
• Don’t covet

3. Consider the

Romans 8:3 (NLT) — The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body like the bodies we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins.
