Sermon Notes

Tonight’s Message:

1. Avoid  Environments

You should evaluate churches before joining them

2. Avoid Developing Unreasonable  of the Church

Psalms 62:5

My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him

3. Don’t Place An Absolute  In People

Jeremiah 17:5

Thus says the LORD: Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the LORD

4. Strive For

1 Corinthians 1:10

Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment

5. Don’t Expect Any Church to be

Romans 7:18-19

For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice.

6. Avoid  The Church For Personal Problems

Isaiah 26:3

You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You

7.  Others as you Wish to be

Matthew 7:12

Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets

8. Have a ,  Attitude

Hebrews 13:17

Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you

9. Don’t  Everything That’s Preached

10. Don’t Get Caught Up in the  of Others

Psalms 15:1-3

Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart; He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend

11. Be Committed to Forthrightness and

Matthew 18:15-17

“Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. “But if he will not hear you, take with you one or two more, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector”

12. Be Devoted To  And Forgiveness

1 John 2:10

He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause for stumbling in him
