WARRIOR – 3

YOUR PORN BATTLE PLAN

“As a woman, I think porn is a disgrace. I used to watch a lot of porn, to be honest.” she said. “I think it really destroyed my brain and I feel incredibly devastated that I was exposed to so much porn.” – Billie Ellish

“There comes a point where we need to stop just pulling people out of the river. We need to go upstream and find out why they’re falling in.” – Archbishop Desmond Tutu

Parents your kids need you to win this fight.

Not a new battle but the enemy is using new weapons.

And so, dear brothers and sisters,[a] I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind HE will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship HIM. 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.   Romans 12:1-2

One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, “Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent! 10 For I am with you, and no one will attack and harm you, for many people in this city belong to ME.Acts 18:9-10

In the spring, at the time when kings go off to war, David sent Joab out with the king’s men and the whole Israelite army. They destroyed the Ammonites and besieged Rab bah. But David remained in Jerusalem. One evening David got up from his bed and walked around on the roof of the palace. From the roof he saw a woman bathing. The woman was very beautiful, and David sent someone to find out about her. The man said, “She is Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite.” Then David sent messengers to get her. She came to him, and he slept with her…  2 Samuel 11:1-4

  • David wasn’t where he was supposed to be.
  • He saw something he wasn’t supposed to see.
  • He did something he wasn’t supposed to do.
  • He cost many people something they weren’t supposed to lose.

A WARRIOR IS VULNERABLE WHEN

  1. They’re overly confident.

So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall!  1 Corinthians 10:12

  1. They feel entitled.

When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. Day and night your hand of discipline was heavy on me. My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat.  Psalm 32:3-4 NLT

Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.  Psalm 32:5 NLT

Warrior Battle Plan

1.Confess to God.

2.Confess to the right people.

3.Remove the triggers.

4.Get the necessary help. (Counseling, Rehab, Accountability)

5. Let God heal the wound.

Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent!
