JESUS had Phase 1

Luke 4  18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on ME, because HE has anointed ME to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind,
to set the oppressed free, 19 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.

HE proclaimed the mission the purpose very clearly.

• Poor (Broken)
• Prisoners (Captive)
• Blind (Lost Sight)
• Oppressed (Broken Hearted)

Since Easter 2020 we have been living in this RE stage of Faith.

• Removing all the distractions
• Released The Holy Spirit
• Reopen WORHSIP
• Reintroduce Bible
• Renewing Heart

• When the bottom line is my happiness, happiness becomes the standard by which I judge my actions.

• Without a belief in absolute truth, truth is defined by whatever makes me happy.

Things JESUS never said. “Go do what makes your happy”

 “Be Holy for I am Holy” 1 PT 1:16

 2 At dawn he [Jesus] appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery.  They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?”   John 8:2-5

Sin promises satisfaction at the cost of disobedience to God.

 That worse moment in your life can lead to most incredible change. 

7 When they kept on questioning him [Jesus], he straightened up and said to them, “Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”  

“Follow me and I will make you the judge and jury of people lives.”

JESUS confronts sin so different than religion.

 10 Jesus straightened up and asked her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” 11 “No one, sir,” she said. 

 “Then neither do I condemn you. Jesus declared. “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

 “Go now and leave your life of sin.”

                    “Leave your shame at the door”

• The opposite of sexual sin isn’t abstinence its Holiness

• Holiness isn’t mutually exclusive of happiness.

• Holiness is the pathway to true happiness and joy!

 You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever. Ps 16:11 NASB

• Every temptation is an invitation to depend on Christ!

And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. 1 Cor 10:13

Put your YES on the table.

 If you rebuke the enemy and return to God by repenting of your sins and receiving Christ, your spirit will be reborn, your mind renewed, your life rebuilt. You will be reconciled by Christ’s redeeming work and reap the rewards of relationship causing revival to break free!
