THREE MISCONCEPTIONS ABOUT HEAVEN

1. HEAVEN WILL BE .

• • • In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. (Gen 1:1) 
    • Heaven will be a place of unimaginable beauty. (Rev 21:15-21)
    • We will know one another, love and be loved. (1 Cor 13:12)
    • In heaven, you will see Jesus face to face. (1 John 3:2).
    • You will have new and perfect bodies. (1 Cor 15:35-55, Mal 4:2, Isa 35:5-6)  

2. THIS WORLD IS YOUR . 

Their mind is set on earthly things. 20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. Phil 3:19-20

• New Wardrobe 
• New Name 
• New Home 
• New Family
• New Seal

3. MOST PEOPLE ARE TO HEAVEN ANYWAY. 

23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. 24 Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. 25 For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood.  Romans 3:23-25 

28-30 “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. If you really understood the reward of Heaven, you would see it doesn’t start one minute after you die. It starts today.
