HE’S STILL GOT THE WHOLE WORLD IN HIS HANDS – 3

HOPE

May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you.  Psalm 33:22

Putting Hope in a person or thing in which my expectations are centered

Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.  1 Timothy 6:17-19

For the creation was subjected to frustration… in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay.  Romans 8:20-21

For in this hope, we were saved… But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait patiently.  Romans 8:24-25

What then shall we say in response to these things?  If God is for us, who can be against us?   Romans 8:30

He who did not spare his own son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?   Romans 8:32

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.   Romans 8:31
