WHEN YOU JUST CAN’T DECIDE
We Have Too Many Choices
We Fear Making A Costly Mistake
Indecision Is A Decision
Don’t Complicate It
Therefore my judgment is that we should not trouble those of the Gentiles who turn to God, but should write to them to abstain from the things polluted by idols, and from sexual immorality, and from what has been strangled, and from blood. For from ancient generations Moses has had in every city those who proclaim him, for he is read every Sabbath in the synagogues. Acts 15:19-21 ESV
Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, to choose men from among them and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. Acts 15:22 ESV
It Seemed Good
There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death. Proverbs 14:12 ESV
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 ESV
1- Know Scripture and Use It to Inform Decisions
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 ESV
2 – Be in Fellowship with Fellow Believers
3 – Seek the Holy Spirit’s Guidance
There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death. Proverbs 14:12 ESV
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. Galatians 5:16 ESV
