Palm Sunday
Please join us at 9:15am on Palm Sunday (March 28th) as we commemorate Christ’s entry into Jerusalem and His final week to physically walk here on earth. Come and join us as we wave our palm branches high and celebrate the love of the Father through the gift of His Son during this special season in the Church!
Maundy Thursday
It is a most sacred and celebratory night in history. It is the night our Lord was betrayed and set in motion redemption for His children. Come and join us as we experience God’s healing power through forgiveness of our sins. On the Thursday between Palm Sunday (Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem) and Easter (the day of Jesus’ Resurrection) Jesus Christ instituted what we call a “new mandate” or “maundy” through the giving of the “Lord’s Supper.” This powerful time of remembrance and outpouring of His grace calls us to a time of reflection, repentance, and celebration that Christ has defeated Satan once and for all as He chose to die on the cross for our sins. Please come and worship with us beginning at 6:30pm on April 1st. The service lasts about an hour, and the whole family is invited!
Easter Sunday
Come and join us in anxious expectation as we celebrate the fact the tomb in which they buried our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ is EMPTY! At 7:00 on Easter morning (April 4th), we will celebrate the truth that we serve a living God! This is a wonderful time to put ourselves in the sandals of the ladies who went expecting to find a dead body but instead found that their Lord, Savior, and Master had conquered death and the grave. If you are an early riser, this is a special time of worship and remembrance of that amazing morning. Following this service, breakfast will be served by our Youth Group.
Following breakfast, we will celebrate the Kingship of our Risen Lord at our regular service time of 9:15am. If you cannot make the Son Rise service or would like to worship our Lord again, please join us and celebrate that JESUS IS ALIVE! Jesus Christ is King over life and death. During this service, we will once again be blessed by a multitude of musical talent from within our congregation. This is a wonderful time to celebrate the reason Christianity is different from all other world religions, it’s all about God’s Grace! So come and worship!
Cookies for Sale
As a fundraiser for the Alaskan Mission Trip, Trinity’s Youth Group is selling cookies for $15 per dozen. If you are interested, please have your order turned in to Kellie or a Youth Group Member by March 24th. Cookies may be picked up on March 27th or 28th at the church.
Rocks
As we move into the next phase of finishing our front entry area, we are looking to make a raised rock garden in the bed that surrounds the pergolas. We are asking that if you have LARGE rocks (bigger than a football to the point you can’t lift them), please bring them to church and place them in the mulched area west of the Sanctuary. We will collect as many as possible to use for the raised rock garden. Thank you!
