Faith Christian Academy Nelson’s Fundraiser
Saturday, May 1st 10:00am @ Tractor Supply parking lot
Nelson’s wonderful Chicken “Pit-tatoes” for $4.00 will be available on Saturday, May 1st in the Tractor Supply parking lot. We will be there from 10:00. This is the famous Nelson’s Port-a-Pit Chicken Halves! And the “Pit-tatoes” are small, whole potatoes cooked the same way as the chicken. Call the school at 248-4872 with any questions. This is a Free Will Donation fundraising event.
Faith Christian Academy McTeacher’s Night
Monday, May 3rd 5:00pm – 8:00pm @ Columbia City McDonald’s
20% of all the sales (30% if ordered by the app) during this time will go directly to our school programs, and there is no coupon to use. Bring your friends and family to the Columbia City McDonald’s for this unique fundraiser. The more people that come, the more money we will raise. We’d love to see you – and the school – smile!
Garage Sale
Thursday, May 6: 8am – 5pm
Friday, May 7: 8am – 6pm
Saturday, May 8: 8am – 12pm
If you have items to donate for our Youth Group Garage Sale, please put them in the large classroom next to the resource room or contact Kellie for pick up. All proceeds from the garage sale will go toward our mission trip to Alaska. We could use help setting up all day on Wednesday, May 5th.
Prayer Walk
May 2nd 12:15pm @ Trinity
Here’s your chance to be a part of the 2021 National Day of Prayer movement. The Deacons of Trinity Evangelical Presbyterian Church invite you to join us on a prayer walk from Trinity Church to the Whitley County Courthouse on May 2nd. Walkers will leave the Trinity parking lot at 12:15. We will make seven stops along the way, offering prayer for the seven designated areas of influence (families, churches/clergy, education, media, military, government and business). There will be snacks available at our last stop, and you can ride the big gray TEPC bus back to the church. Join us in petitioning and praising our gracious Lord and Savior.
Rocks
As we move into the next phase of finishing our front entry area, we are looking to make a raised rock garden in the bed that surrounds the pergolas. We are asking that if you have LARGE rocks (bigger than a football to the point you can’t lift them), please bring them to church and place them in the mulched area west of the Sanctuary. We will collect as many as possible to use for the raised rock garden. Thank you!
