Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27
The Prince of Peace brings …

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
“For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.” Colossians 1:19-20
“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”. Romans 5:1

“Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” Colossians 3:13
Grievance = a real or imagined wrong or other cause for complaint or protest, especially unfair treatment.
Offended = resentful of a perceived insult.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
Petition = a formal request, appealing to authority with respect to a particular cause.

- Do you know where you are going when you die?
- Is there someone you need to forgive? Who & Why?
- Does anxiety stop you from doing stuff?
- Have you asked God for supernatural peace?
- What is God inviting you to because of this sermon?
