Qualities for Life

August 22, 2021 / 2 Peter 1:5-12

There is a difference between and the of a Christian.

Virtue: goodness; excellence of character

Knowledge: acquaintance with

Self-control: temperance

Steadfastness: endurance; perseverance

Godliness: piety; reverence for God

Brotherly affection: loving each other like family

Love: selfless, sacrificial love

These close the distance between our lives and life.

1 Timothy 6:11-12

can grow in these things.

Our eternal life has been perfectly provided by the work of Jesus. But, even as Christians, we can be or in our daily lives with Jesus.

1 Corinthians 3:11-15

As we practice these qualities, the path becomes clear.

Jesus wants us to have —now and for eternity.
