Patience:
1) an ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay
2) the quality of being patient, as the bearing of provocation, annoyance, misfortune, or pain, without complaint, loss of temper, irritation, or the like.
Patience is one of the indicators that the Spirit of God is at work in your life.
Galatians 5:22
We are called to be people of love and love is patient.
1 Corinthians 13:4
Patience is a posture of our hearts.
1 Corinthians 3:6-9
Jesus is patient with us.

Spiritual growth & maturity isn’t only about patiently waiting.
Spiritual growth & maturity, also requires some hard work!

Spiritual practices help us cooperate with the work that He is doing.

Establish: to set up on a firm or permanent basis.
An established heart is one that doesn’t move.

- On a scale of 1-10, how patient are you? 1=“I don’t even have time for your questions,” 10=“I’m pretty much like Job.”
- Are you patient with your own spiritual growth? Did it surprise you to learn that spiritual growth usually includes more than patience alone?
- Why is an “established heart” so critical in the world we live in today?
- Spend some time praying for one another that God would establish your hearts and expand your patience.
