Build The Church/Construir La Iglesia

Today we are about the vision for the church and how it has always been the same to Build The Church. As I lay out what God has given me for this year Remember were going to Build Our Church../ Hoy vamos hablar del visión de la iglesia y cómo siempre ha sido la misma Construir La Iglesia. Mientras los digo lo que Dios me ha dado para este año, Recuerde vamos a Construir Nuestro Iglesia..

Psalm 132:1-5

I love how the Lord knows exactly how to speak to us. He knows us so well, even better than we know ourselves. He can say the exact right thing in the exact moment for us to get the exact message that we need./ Me encanta como Dios sabe exactamente cómo hablarnos. El Nos conoce tan bien, mejor de lo que nos conocemos a nosotros mismos. El puede decir exactamente lo correcto en el momento exacto para que recibamos el mensaje exacto que necesitamos.

I want to take you on the journey that I’ve been on for the last few months. We are going to build the Church. But when you begin a building project, we all know there are preparations that have to be made. This week I want to look at David & Solomon. Before we can ever lay a foundation, Even before the land can be cleared. We must make plans and preparations./Quiero llevarte en el viaje en el que he estado en los últimos meses. Vamos a edificar la Iglesia. Pero cuando comienza un proyecto de construcción, todos sabemos que hay que hacer preparativos. Esta semana quiero mirar a David y Salomón. 1 Chronicles  22:5 

Now this verse is talking about preparations for a physical building. But we know that what we do as believers is not just in the physical. So we will be talking about making preparations in the spiritual as well./Ahora, este versículo habla de los preparativos para un edificio físico. Pero sabemos que lo que hacemos como creyentes no es solo en lo físico. Así que estaremos hablando de hacer preparativos en lo espiritual también.

1. First, We know him as a worshiper. We attribute much of the Psalms to King David. We read his story and there were recorded songs that he sang at various points of his life. I would say in our modern Christianity David set the bar for worship./Primero, lo conocemos como un adorador. Atribuimos gran parte de los Salmos al Rey David. Leímos su historia y hubo canciones grabadas que cantó en varios momentos de su vida. Diría que en nuestro cristianismo moderno, David fijó el estándar para la adoración.

Now, I am not only talking about music. Worship has a way of allowing the spirit to express emotions. Joy. Sorrow. Worship is a faith builder./Ahora, no solo estoy hablando de música. 2. The second way we see God making preparations for the temple from David’s life is warfare. He began as a shepherd boy. Before he ever faced the giant, he first fought a bear and a lion. Then after the giant, we read how no matter where David set his foot, he subdued his enemy./La segunda forma en que vemos a Dios haciendo los preparativos para el templo a partir de la vida de David es la guerra. Comenzó como un pastorcillo. Antes de enfrentarse al gigante, primero luchó contra un oso y un león. As a believer, we MUST learn how to engage in warfare. The spiritual kind./Como creyentes, DEBEMOS aprender a participar en la guerra. El tipo espiritual.

Ephesians 6:12-13

We never stop growing as a believer. This is why we say we aren’t perfect, but we are being perfected. Growing people change. Worship and Warfare. And David died having never been able to see the temple even started. But he had made preparations./Nunca dejamos de crecer como creyentes. Por eso decimos que no somos perfectos, pero estamos siendo perfeccionados. Las personas en crecimiento cambian. Adoración y Guerra. His father gave some pretty clear instructions and then he does an interesting thing: He prays. 3. The first thing Solomon does is ask God for Wisdom./Lo primero que hace Salomón es pedirle a Dios Sabiduría.

The second thing we see is Opportunity./Lo segundo que vemos es Oportunidad.

Here is the beginning of the wisest king the world has ever known. The Bible says that there has never been another one like Solomon before or since. The dream I mentioned earlier to you was simple. Steven was our David. We are Solomon./
Aquí está el comienzo del rey más sabio que el mundo haya conocido jamás. La Biblia dice que nunca ha habido otro como Salomón antes o después. El sueño que te mencioné antes era simple. Steven era nuestro David. Somos Salomón.

We need the wisdom of heaven to know the difference. James 3 teaches us the difference between earthly wisdom and heaven’s wisdom./Necesitamos la sabiduría del cielo para saber la diferencia. Santiago 3 nos enseña la diferencia entre la sabiduría terrenal y la sabiduría del cielo.

Steven was like David. He spent his life preparing for the presence of the Lord. Through worship and warfare.Now we are Solomon. It is time to build the church.Jesus is the friend that sticks closer than a brother. Next week. I want to talk to you about the process of building. The first thing we have to do is clear the land. We have to clear out the obstacles and get ready to lay a foundation. I’m going to let you think about that metaphor this week./Steven era como David.
