Psalm 100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Every Christian should respond to God’s goodness with gratitude.
I. His That Was Broken.
Galatians 5:9 A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
John 1:29b Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.
Psalm 34:20 He keepeth all his bones: Not one of them is broken.
John 19:36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.
II. His That Was Shed.
Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
Colossians 1:19-20 For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell; And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.
1 Peter 1:18-19 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.
III. His in Our Lives.
Our thankfulness begins with the understanding of Who He is.
Psalm 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loadeth us with benefits, Even the God of our salvation. Selah.
John 19:30b It is finished.
1 Corinthians 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.
