“More” – Mark 12:41-44
Mark 12:41-44 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.
Luke 10:2 The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
Acts 20:35b It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Luke 6:38a Give, and it shall be given unto you.

Matthew 6:1 Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 6:2 Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.
2 Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
When it comes to giving, the heart of the matter is a matter of the heart.
II. God’s Math Takes the into Account.
Mark 12:44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.
Luke 12:48b For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required.
We may not all give the same amount, but we are all called upon to do what God would have us to do according to what He has given.
It isn’t the size of the gift; it is the sacrifice of the giver that receives Christ’s attention.

When you get ahold of God’s accounting system, it will lead you to a values system that summarizes the mission of the gospel and the glory of God as more important than our own comforts.
