c.  The of the “Word of God”—We

Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

Christ’s example in Matthew 4.

Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in His law doth he meditate day and night.

The art of meditation is seeking personal application of the truths of God’s Word.

2 Timothy 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable [beneficial] for doctrine [teaching what is truth], for reproof [shows what is wrong], for correction [how to make the wrong right], for instruction in righteousness [how to stay right]:

POINT OF ACTION: Our warfare is fought with the instruments of God. His provision for our success in our spiritual battles of life is found in His Word. With the substance of God’s Word, we find truth. With the sufficiency of God’s Word, we find it trustworthy. With the success of God’s Word, we triumph.
