REHAB – Honestly Evaluate My Relationships

Two weeks ago, we began a series called REHAB – a pathway to new life. It’s an acrostic:
R: Realize I’m not God. Realize I’m powerless to control my own thoughts and feelings; realize my life is unmanageable.
Last week, we looked at E: Earnestly believe God exists. Earnestly believe I matter to him; earnestly believe he has the power to help me.
And that leads us to the H in our REHAB: evaluate all my relationships. Offer to those who have me and makefor harm I’ve done to others except when to do so would harm them or others.
1 John 4:20
There are obviously two parts to this step in your REHAB: First, forgive those who have hurt me, and second, make amends to those I’ve hurt.
