To Love Jesus Well

-We can Love someone deeply but not effectively communicate that affection

-We can Love someone, but not necessarily love them well

Christ had a name for those who loved Him well:

1.  By Making Him Priority

*Christ is to be the THE Priority, not just A priority

2. By Remaining Obedient to the Point of

      -Luke 14:27

*Often, we are obedient to the point of Convenience, not Sacrifice

We love Jesus Well…

3. By Faithfully Him

       -Luke 14:28

       -Luke 9:23    “Pick up your cross”

*Christ does not offer a “bait and switch” faith, He is transparent about the cost to follow Him. Its your CHOICE to FOLLOW Him!

*Christ does not want you to choose Him out of intimidation, compulsion, or guilt, but by the merit of His love demonstrated on the cross!

*Its your Cross, your Decision (Not your parents, your spouse, or your culture)
