I. Hope to (1 Peter 1:2)

II. Hope that (1 Peter 1:3)

III. Hope that (1 Peter 1:1-4)

Hope not based: Feelings. Goodness. Based on:

1:2: God’s Grace. (Grace = Goodness you don’t deserve)

1:2 Father’s foreknowledge

1:2: Jesus’ blood

1:3 His great mercy, (Mercy = Withholding wrath do deserve)

How safe is our salvation?

1. Saved by Not by our good works.

2. We are . Can’t be “un-Born.” My children will always be my children.

3. Salvation

“When we’ve been there, ten thousand years, bright shining as the sun,

It reaches to the highest mountain It flows to the lowest valley

It soothes my doubts and calms my fears: And it dries all my tears

4. Salvation is

IV. Result of such a great, secure hope: (1 Peter 1:1:8)
