Be
Abigail wasted no time. (1 Samuel 25:18, NLT)

Don’t let this be a blemish on your record. Then your conscience won’t have to bear the staggering burden of needless bloodshed and vengeance. (1 Samuel 25:31, NLT)
Through him (Jesus), God reconciled everything to himself. He made peace with everything in heaven and on earth by means of Christ’s blood on the cross (Colossians 1:20, NLT)

Head
- Read 1 Samuel 25:1-35. How do you see Abigail bringing peace by interceding for Nabal?
- If you were Abigail, how would you have responded?
- Who is your “Abigail” – someone who has been part of bringing a peaceful solution into your life? Share a story about how they became “your Abigail”.
Heart
- When you get angry, do you usually hide and let it rage inside; let it seep out slowly before you explode; or spontaneously combust? How would others around you say you act when you get angry?
- What can you learn from this story about being part of bringing peaceful solutions to your tense and conflicted situations and conversations?
- Read Colossians 1:19-20. How do these verses convict or challenge your heart to both receive Jesus’ Easter peace and give it away as a solution?
