 The Long Trail Ahead

Romans 8:31-39

We need

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. (Romans 5:3-5, NLT)

Valleys are:

  • In the “Who Knows” Valley – . (v. 31-32)
  • In the “I Messed Up” Valley – . (v. 33-34)
  • In the “God Sent Me Here” Valley – . (v. 35-36)

Blessing is at the end of the road. And that which is at the end of the road influences everything that takes place along the road… A joyful end requires a joyful means. Bless the Lord. – Eugene Peterson
