Romans 7:15–25 (NLT)  I don’t really understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate… I want to do what is right, but I can’t. I want to do what is good, but I don’t.  I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway… I have discovered this principle of life—that when I want to do what is right, I inevitably do what is wrong. I love God’s law with all my heart. But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind… Oh, what a miserable person I am!  Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death?  Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord.

Most of life’s battles are won or lost in your .

2 Corinthians 10:3-4 (NIV)  For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

Stronghold:  Fortified prison

*Any area where you’ve been taken locked by .

Ephesians 6:12 (NCV) Our fight is not against people on earth but against the rulers and authorities and the powers of this world’s darkness, against the spiritual powers of evil in the heavenly world.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (NIV)  For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

Your life is a reflection of the thoughts that you think.

Proverbs 4:23 (NIV) Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

Philippians 4:8-9 (NLT) And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

Philippians 4:8 (NKJV) … If there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy-meditate on these things.

Your is always in the direction of your strongest .

Meditate: To engage in exercise. To focus one’s .

Psalm 119:15-16 (NIV)  I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.

Identify the lie that is holding you back.

You cannot defeat what you cannot define.

–  Replace the lie with God’s truth.

– “Hey Google, give me bible verses on…”

– Get a paper Bible and highlight the verses.

– Read and Rehearse God’s Word.

John 8:31-32 (NKJV) …“If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

TRAINING YOUR MIND TOWARDS TRUTH

1.  the truth down.

Habakkuk 2:2 (NKJV) …”Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.

Proverbs 29:18 (KJV) Where there is no vision, the people perish…

2. about the truth.

Psalm 145:5 (NIV) I will meditate on your wonderful works.

Psalm 1:1–3 (NIV) Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

3. the truth until you the truth.

Proverbs 18:21 (NIV) The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.

2 Timothy 3:16 (NLT) All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

When you’re worried declare…

(Phil 4:6) Because of Christ I’m not anxious about anything.

(1 Peter 5:7) I cast my cares on Christ because He cares for me.

(Phil 4:7) I have the peace of God dwelling in my heart and ruling my mind.

When you don’t know what to do declare…

(1 John 4:4) My life belongs to God.

(Prov 16:9) Daily I seek Him and daily He directs my steps.

(John 10:4) I know his voice and he leads me to his perfect will.

When you lack confidence declare…

(Phil 1:6) My confidence is in Christ alone.

(Gal 2:20) His Spirit lives within me.

(Phil 4:13) I can do everything He calls me to do.

DECLARATIONS OF TRUTH

I am strong and mighty.

I have the same power that raised Christ from the dead dwelling inside of me.

I am not my past.

I am not what I did.

I am who God says I am.

God says I am forgiven.

God says I am redeemed.

God says I am free.

I am not a hostage to my unhealthy thoughts.

The weapons I fight with are not the weapons of this world.

I have divine power to demolish strongholds.

I have the mind of Christ directing my thoughts.

I take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ.

Worry is not my master.  I trust in God.

God has not given me a spirit of fear, but a Spirit of power, of love and of a sound mind.

The Lord is my helper.

I will not be afraid.

I am not a slave to my habits.

I am not not a prisoner to an addiction.

I am empowered.

I am chosen.

I am a masterpiece of God, created in Christ Jesus, to do good works which God prepared in advance for me to do.

God is for me. God is with me.

No weapon formed against me will prosper.

Nothing can separate me from God’s love. Not death. Not demons. Not the present nor the past.

No power on earth will ever separate me from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

“THIS IS THE TRUTH, I BELIEVE IT, AND THE TRUTH WILL SET ME FREE!”
