“wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, [2] when they see your respectful and pure conduct.

“Wives, be subject to, be submissive to your own husbands, so that… Ladies, the ultimate motivation for submitting to your husband is to impact his spiritual well-being. You do it because of your love for Jesus and your husband’s need for Jesus.

“they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, [2] when they see your respectful and pure conduct”

“When they see the purity and reverence of your lives.” In other words, make sure your walk with Jesus matches your talk about Jesus.
