The Power of the Cross

Romans 5:6-8 None can stand in their own perfection.
Romans 3:10-12 We are all in the same condition before God.

An example of total collapse.
An example of the gift of grace.
John 3:16 NIV, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Point
The cross is more than a symbol or trinket to be worn as fashion, it is the gift of life to all who will receive the grace of Christ by faith.
Time of commitment
We will pause at the end of the service to celebrate the gift and the power of the cross as we celebrate the meal of Communion together as a church.
