TITLE:  Theophany: The God Of Thunder

When we hear about God showing up as thunder, lightning, fire, and smoke, we often think of a God who is trying to intimidate us or scare us into obedience. But Exodus 19 tells a different story! At Mount Sinai, the Israelites are reassured of God’s presence and God’s holiness. Both for them and for us today, the God of Thunder is good news!
