1. Know Who You Are.   2 Peter 1:1

• Sinner. 
• Saint. 
• Servant.  
• Sent. 

2. Know Where You Stand.   2 Peter 1:1-2

• You have obtained faith.   V.1

“received”  obtained – to receive by lot.

“like”  we have faith in common with all Christians

“precious,” worthy, especially dear and highly valuable. 

• You have imputed righteousness.  V.1

Imputed: to have something credited or deposited to one’s account. 

• You have multiplied grace and peace.   V.2

“multiplied”  “to greatly increase” or taken to its “maximum measure.” 

3. Know What to Do.    2 Peter 1:3-4

• Unleash God’s power.   V.3

“everything”  All things

“granted” All needed right now to be all we are to be  

• Utilize God’s promises.   V. 4:

“magnificent”  exceedingly outstanding. 

“precious”  prized or valuable. 

• Undertake God’s partnership.   V. 4:

“partaker”  “to share”  

“escaped”  successfully get away from something evil. 

“corruption”  that which is decomposing or rotting away.
