1. In Colossians 4:5-6, Paul speaks of outsiders—those outside of the church and more importantly outside of a relationship with Christ. Would you describe yourself as an outsider or an insider? Why?

2. What happens if a church focuses exclusively on reaching outsiders or focuses exclusively on maturing insiders? How can the church stay focused on both/and instead of either/or? Consider Matthew 28:18-20.

3. For Parkway to reach its geography, each person at Parkway must reach his or her own personal geography. Who are the people in your world, who are far away from God, for whom you can pray and pursue redemptive friendships? Think of where you live, work, play, and study.

4. Review Colossians 1:29. As we work to saturate our geography with the gospel, do we rely on Self Effort or the Spirit’s Energy? What do you think both diligence and dependence look like regarding missional living?
