The Life of David

1 Samuel 16:1-13

 

The most important reason to study David is because he teaches us about Jesus. 

“And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, He explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning Himself.”   Luke 24:27

The Law tells us about ourselves and how far we fall short, but it especially shows us the 

“Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.”   Romans 3:20

“Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.”   Romans 10:4

Every prophet is just pointing to Jesus, the .
