The word here is a common word.
Peter rushes in and scrutinized the grave clothes (theoreō) and notices how they were laid out.
John enters and sees what Peter has seen and the word that John uses is oraō and it means to see and .
What made John believe?
Bodies were not or burned at this time.
Jesus was most likely wrapped with linen that was enclosed with spices and laid — his face, neck, and shoulders would have been left .
How did the resurrection occur?
Did he fight his way out of the wrapping? .
Jesus, in some way, through the grave clothes and had a resurrected body.
The grave clothes were lying there as they were — they hadn’t moved. The body of Jesus had been removed.
There is evidence for the resurrection
