Being on the “Eternal Champions,” Team

Two Definitions of Champion:

1. A person who has defeated or surpassed all in a competition, especially in sports.
2. A person who fights or argues for a or on behalf of someone (Oxford Languages)

1 Samuel 17:4 (NLT); Then Goliath, a Philistine from Gath, came out of the Philistine ranks to face the forces of Israel. He was over nine feet tall!

1 Samuel 17:8 (NLT); Goliath stood and shouted a across to the Israelites. “Why are you all coming out to fight?” he called. “I am the Philistine champion, but you are only the servants of Saul. Choose one man to come down here and fight me!

The battle was the Lord’s in David’s life and is the Lord’s in your life!

1 Samuel 17:48-49 (NLT); As Goliath moved closer to attack, David ran out to him. Reaching into his shepherd’s bag and taking out a stone, he hurled it with his sling and hit the Philistine in the forehead. The stone sank in, and Goliath stumbled and face down on the ground.
