There was a dramatic, abrupt shift in God’s agenda for His people between the last verse of Acts 1 and the beginning verses of Acts 2. God was doing a new thing and the ears of all who heard it would tingle. The Holy Spirit would transform a group of hesitant disciples into a powerful witness for Christ and the Church of Christ would explode onto the scene of history…declaring His story.
