Luke 13:22-30

The phrase, “make every effort,” (v. 24) is from the Greek word “agonizomai,” which gives us our English word “agonize.”
Jesus is saying: “That’s the kind of effort I’m talking about – not because salvation is hard, but because it’s too important to !!”
“I am the door; if anyone enters by Me, he will be saved.” John 10:9
Jesus doesn’t say these things to scare us; He tells us hard things because He .
