2 Samuel 21:15-17; Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

  • Frustration with the situation
  • Evaluation of self-worth

Father, please help me understand the seasons of my life and be faithful to exhibit a God-honoring response.

In View

  • Seasons of life are by God.
    (Acts 1:7; Daniel 2:21)
  • There is never a season when we are .
    (Psalm 16:9-11)
  • Each season looks , but they all have
    (Philippians 1:6)
            – A reminder in the fruitful season: the Lord
              (Deuteronomy 8:10-11)
            – A reminder in the difficult season: the Lord.

            – A reminder in the waiting season: the Lord.

  • Seek counsel during unfamiliar seasons of life.

Practical Application

  • Look for opportunities to praise the Lord in every season.
  • Look for opportunities to serve the Lord in every season.
  • Look for opportunities to disciple others in every season.
