Have you ever felt insecure, unloved, or abandoned? What Happened to the Fire? The enemy of your soul doesn’t always need to defeat you—he just needs to distract you and drain your zeal. If he can rob your confidence, your expectations, and your passion, he has already won. Recognize these tactics of the enemy Insecurity distracts us with self-preservation. We seek stability rather than Kingdom advancement. Feeling unloved drives us to search for passion rather than give it. Feeling abandoned tempts us to give up on God’s vision. It’s not just that the enemy brings discouragement—he also brings disconnection. The Corinthians’ Struggle In 1 Corinthians 11–13, Paul is addressing a spiritually gifted but relationally divided church. They were obsessed with signs, power, and gifts—but had forgotten what sustains the Spirit’s work. What lasts? Faith. Hope. Love. Paul’s message is clear: don’t chase spiritual highs—stir up spiritual depth. What Are You Stirring Up?
