JESUS IS GREATER SERIES – “A GREATER JOY”
Does your faith bring you joy? Hebrews teaches that one of the benefits of following Jesus is that we can experience God’s joyful presence in our lives. Sometimes that joy gets robbed by distractions, rigid traditions or misconceptions about God. Hebrews reminds us that God is throwing a joyful party and your name is on the guest list thanks to Jesus!

1. YOU BELONG!
    But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven.  Hebrews 12:22-23a
2. A PLACE OF GRACE
   You have come to … Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.  Hebrews 12:24
3. A PLACE OF SAFETY
   God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging. Psalm 46:1-3
