“HUMILITY THAT RESPECTS” | Pastor John Danganan

May 2, 2021   /   New Hope Community Church

EVERYONE DESERVES , EVEN GOD’S ENEMIES.

Then Daniel (also called Belteshazzar) was greatly perplexed for a time, and his thoughts terrified him. So the king said, “Belteshazzar, do not let the dream or its meaning alarm  you.” Belteshazzar answered, “My lord, if only the dream applied to your enemies and its meaning to your adversaries! (Daniel 4:19)

21 Daniel answered, “May the king live forever! 22 My God sent his angel, and he shut the mouths of the lions. They have not hurt me, because I was found innocent in his sight. Nor have I ever done any wrong before you, Your Majesty.” (Daniel 6:21-22)

HUMILITY IS NOT SOMETHING , IT IS SOMETHING .

3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. (Philippians 2:3-4)

THOSE WHO DON’T KNOW JESUS ARE  AS IF THEY DON’T KNOW JESUS.

24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach,  not resentful. 25 Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, 26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. (2 Timothy 2:24-26)
