“FATHERS OF ENCOURAGEMENT” | Father’s Day Service

“Fathers, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.” (Colossians 3:21) 

 

PURSUE A RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR CHILDREN THAT THEM TO

“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord. The purpose of spiritual authority is to encourage and build people up in  Christ.” (Ephesians 6:4) 

 

  • The purpose of spiritual authority is to , not tear them down.  

This is why I write these things when I am absent, that when I come I may not have to be harsh in my use of authority—the authority the Lord gave me for building you up, not for tearing you down. (2 Corinthians 13:10) 

 

  • Ways we provoke our children to  and
