“His disciples asked Him, ‘Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?’ ‘Neither this man nor his parents sinned,’ said Jesus, ‘but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.’” (John 9:2-3)

  1. Respond With .

“Then Job tore his clothes, then he fell to the ground and worshipped. Through all this, Job did not sin nor did he blame God.” (Job 1:20, 22)

“It is still my consolation and I rejoice in unsparing pain that I have not denied the words of the Holy One.” (Job. 6:10)

  1. Process Pain

“In the days of His flesh when He cried out to God with loud cryings and tears to the One who was able to save him from death.” (Heb. 5:7)

“So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.” (1 Pet. 4:19)
