When Life is Uncertain

“I will come to you after I go through Macedonia, for I am going through Macedonia, and perhaps I will stay with you, or even spend the winter, so that you may send me on my way wherever I may go, For I do not wish to see you now just in passing; for I hope to remain with you for some time, if the Lord permits.” (1 Cor. 16:5-7)

“When I pass through Macedonia, not sure yet if I will stay…but if I do, I might stay with you for a little while… no, maybe the whole winter, sorry, not sure yet, but could you give me what I might need when I go… wherever I may go? Not sure yet. I don’t want to be a bother and just pass through, but I hope maybe to stay a little while, but whatever God permits. It’s really up to Him. So, we’ll see … PTL. (1Cor. 15:5-7)

1. GET PROFICIENT AT THE BASICS.

“…but there are many who oppose me.” (1 Cor. 16:9)

1. EXPECT OPPOSITION.

“I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost, for a wide door for effective work has opened to Me, and there are many adversaries” (1. Cor. 16:8)

“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love” (1 Cor. 16:13)

“And the one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; and on whomever it falls, it will crush him.”
