THREE PRINCIPLES OF MERCY

1. Give people your TIME AND ATTENTION.

2. Don’t be offended by .

“Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. There are still others to whom you need to show mercy, but be careful that you aren’t contaminated by their sins.” ~ Jude 1:23 (NLT)

“Most importantly, love each other deeply. Love has a way of not looking at other’s sins.” ~ 1 Peter 4:8 (ICB)

OPPORTUNITIES TO SHOW MERCY

1. Look for people .

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” ~ Galatians 6:2 (NIV)

2. Look for people with and help them.

“Each one of us needs to look after the good of the people around us, asking ourselves, “How can I help?” That’s exactly what Jesus did. He didn’t make it easy for himself by avoiding people’s troubles, but waded right in and helped out.” ~ Romans 15:2b-3 (The Message)

“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’ “Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing?
