Lesson 4 – THE DOOR TO ABUNDANT BLESSING

SEVEN BIBLICAL PROMISES ABOUT GENEROSITY
1. God promises will happen to me.
“Good will come to him who is generous” ~ Psalm 112:5a (NIV)
“The generous will themselves be blessed.” ~ Proverbs 22:9a (NIV)
2. God promises will be blessed.
[The Godly] “They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing.” ~ Psalm 37:26 (NIV)
3. God promises He will bless .
“Honor the Lord by giving him the first part of all your income.” ~ Proverbs 3:9 (TLB)
“Then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.” ~ Proverbs 3:10 (NIV)
“A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” ~ Proverbs 11:25 (NIV)
4. God promises will increase.
“The world of the generous gets larger and larger; the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller.” ~ Proverbs 11:24 (The Message)

“You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” ~ 2 Corinthians 9:7 (NLT)
