THE THRONE OF GRACE
“Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess. 15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin. 16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” ~ Hebrews 4:14-16 (NIV)

Outside of Heaven the most wonderful place in the entire universe, to visit is

THRONE means: Elevated, ceremonial chair, its height symbolized the importance and authority of the person seated on it. Symbolize Kingship
1. What happens at the throne of grace, we do not have a who is unaware of all of our weakness?
“ For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet he did not sin.”~ Hebrews 4:14a
2. Who may on God at his throne of grace?
“Then men began to call on the name of the LORD.” ~ Genesis 4:26b (NKJV)
3. The way to the throne of grace by His towards us.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” ~ John 3:16 (NIV)
A. God is calling His people to .
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” ~ Philippians 4:6 (NIV)
“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’” ~ Jeremiah 33:3 (NIV)
“In the same way the sun never grows weary of shining, nor a stream of flowing, it is God’s nature to keep His promises. Therefore, go immediately to His throne and say, ‘Do as You promised.” ~ Charles Spurgeon
4. God provides a where we can go everyday called the throne of grace.

God will lovingly respond to us and help us make it through.
5. God wants you to come boldly to the throne of grace with .

A. This is the we have in Jesus Christ.
“In whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him.” ~ Ephesians 3:12 (ESV)
This is where God wants to help us with mercy and grace at the throne.
Prayer gets answers from God. – You have not because you ask not.
“Yet you do not have because you do not ask.” ~ James 4:2 (NKJV)
