“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”  2 Corinthians 9:7 (NIV)

1. It’s not the size of the GIFT that matters to God, it is the size of the .

A. Some of the greatest in the Bible are marked by their sacrifice.

B. Being a giver starts in the very first chapter of Genesis, verse 15: God them light.

“And let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so.” Genesis 1:15 (NIV)

2. There is also another “giver” in the Bible is a giver/deceiver.

A. Satan had the audacity to say in the of Christ, “All this I will give you.”

B. Jesus knew it was a lie. He was going to build His own .

3. The two givers in the Bible are the two we have to with.

A. Are we going to listen to the giver or the true and RIGHTEOUS giver?

B. I am the great giver, and I want to be a giver too.
